Since the Hail Caesar Fantasy yahoo group is not accepting anymore members (I've timed out twice) is there anywhere I can find fantasy rule for Hail Caesar? I have found some, but just "add ones", nothing covering magic, flyers, that sort of thing. Thanks. |

There is a semi official mod being worked on (ie it is monitored by Rick Priestley), it's called Shadow Storm, there is a group for it on Facebook, you can find all the rules and the army lists for all major fantasy races and much more |

You would be better off getting hold of a copy of warmaster. Its better written and precise. The points system also works. Dont know what rick was thinking when he wrote Hail ceaser. He must have been very short of time. |

I had read that they had problems trying to work with pikes in Warmaster, and that the issue was resolved in Hail Caesar. |

There are some small problems with warmaster I don't remember pikes being one of them but none of my armies had pikes. I found it tended to slow down when there was a multi-unit combat. Hail Ceaser is like warmaster with chunks missing. Warlord games play testers seem to constantly fail them. The Hail Ceaser points system doesn't work either. Armour costs about a third of what it should and the little add-ons are barely worth having. |

Hail Caesar is a great game, far better than Warmaster |
