An ancient player using Ancient minis tries out a relatively new (to him) set of Ancient rules.
I enjoyed a close game and will give the rules another spin with my Bibicals! If your interested I've made some notes regarding the rules at the end of the Blog post. link |

I like HC quite a lot, they give a good fun game that keeps your interest at all times. They are very flexible and adaptable to unique scenarios where other rules just don't work. The morale was a little puzzling at first but after dozens of games I think Rick has it just about right. Best game we've had so far was Octavian V Anthony, brutal is an understatement. Neither side asked for or gave quarter. |

I enjoyed the game a lot and none of the results baffled me. Also the neither of the Armies included anything too exotic and yet the game was still interesting. |
