The first of our 2013 War & Conquest gaming days will be on 16 February 2013

Details and ticket here link

War & Conquest Gaming Day 16 February 2013.

Iron Acton, near Bristol, easy to access via M4 and M5 motorway and if coming by train, let us know so we can endeavour to arrange a collection if practical. (Train station Yate perferred, Bristol Parkway otherwise)

Price includes lunch.

The day consists of 3 War & Conquest games. Beginners welcome and we do have a few spare armies for those who have not fully painted their own armies yet. 2000 point armies required, 28- 20mm sized models, ideally fully painted. If enough players want to use 15 or 10mm armies, just let us know and we will see what can be arranged.

Tea and coffee will be available on arrival, along with a doughnut or similiar.

You can read about our previous War & Conquest and Great War gaming days on our forum.

Additional details of the War & Conquest day will also be found in the Scarab forum here link

Thank you Michael- no doubt see you at one of the up and coming shows

Just an update on the event- like our previous War & Conquest gaming days we welcome new players, including those who have not yet had a chance to try out the rules.

The day is very relaxed.

This time out, Dark Ages, the Roman period and Greeks seem popular so far

Really looking forward to this event and have been getting in some practice with War and Conquest games in advance. Last night's was a 1st century B.C. Roman v. Roman battle, which ended in a close fought draw. My army was made up of quality troops, but my opponents', including a number of cohorts of raw legionaries, proved that quantity has a quality all its own!
