Excellent AAR's, thanks for those! Great reading while waiting to come home from overseas. I've been looking at possibly purchasing FoG:R for TYW games. I've previously used Warfare in the Age of Discovery. How do you like the rules? |

They are good – well I like them. Vanilla, but all the bugs are pretty ironed out. Great for comp play
but that may be just the circle of people that play around here. |

I like the FoG-R rules too. Some of the easier that I've played. |

I wouldn't quite call them vanilla at all since Tercios and other formations have unique rules. Lot's of meat in the rules and lists IMO. Now, this is coming from someone that doesn't have a huge breadth of knowledge about all the rules for this period either. So take it for what it is worth. All I know is that most that have played it have liked it; a lot! |

Ordered the ruleset, and spent a good part of a day digging through your blog Simon. Amazing work! I was curious, what make are your 15mm Imperialist Spanish? |
