Mind, zambureks were NOT fired "from the saddle," or on the move.
The rider/gunner dismounted, knelt the camel broadside to the target, and fired from behind.
Not an especially lengthy process, but they were anything but "self propelled guns!"
The only "correct" model of zambureks is that sculpted by Chris Ferree years ago as part of the original 25mm Sikh Wars line of miniatures where two separate pairs of figures constituted a complete set: One camel with zamburek and rider trotting along, and another with the camel kneeling, the separate gun capable of being mounted for firing to either side, and the rider/gunner serving the piece. The first set indicated the unit was moving, or at least not deployed, and the second for serious work.
Of course, it is a lot of effort to represent one of the least effective weapons systems ever, at least when facing a disciplined European style force.
But when it's also about COLOR, they can't be beaten with a stick! Zaniest bunch o' boys ever!
