3 new battle reports now posted featuring some classic Mikes Models 15mm Polish Hussars and an unfeasible number of flank marches….

Yay Hussars! Fun reports as always, thanks.

Whoo! I am looking forward to this.

Another superior set of reports, and yes, Winged Hussars *are* impossibly cool!

Its a Mad, Mad, Mad World of Poles!!!

Although think the Mediterranean chap had a point after round two – planning to lose isn't the best form.

P.S. I have also been enamored of the Winged Ones since I saw them in the first Arms and Armor Annual.

I love your battle reports but can you please avoid FoG terminology as I don't play FoGR.

Why on earth couldn't your opponent straighten his pikes, they look awful!

madaxeman29 Jan 2014 1:58 p.m. PST

I do try and sneak in the odd explanation of some of the FoGR terms when I can, however if I leave them out I get comments from other gamers that they would like more detail on the rules – this happend in my recent Saga reports where I had people asking for more photos of ALL of the battle boards! Hopefully it's not too distracting…

Bent pikes is one of the banes of competitions. My next set will feature some, erm, 30-year old Mikes Models Swiss who still have straight pikes, so why people can't manage to keep theirs straight remains a mystery to me too…

If it helps troops start off as steady, the drop morale to DISR = "a bit f@@ked", then FRAGGED = "really f@@ked" and the next morale step down after that is "routing"!

POAs are combat advantages. +1 = "I probably should beat you here, however I'm still nervous of the dice" and +2 = "you're going down here big time sonny unless you have the luck of the 7 Blind B@rstewards"…

Thanks for the explanation, I think we are all guilty of using jargon in our games.

Is 'Fragged' a term actually used in FoG?

Sort of..

Technically its "Fragmented"… but I almost had to look it up to check, as everyone of course says "Fragged" :-)
