Listed below are the Field of Glory games that I will be running at the Havoc Game Convention in Shreswbury, Massachusetts:

Friday 7:30 : Learn to play field of glory. I will have some small scenarios setup to go over the basic concepts of the rules.

Saturday: All Day – Field of Glory Tournament: The tournament will be a 900 point, 15mm, Open with armies allowed from any of the published army list books. We will be using Version 2 of the rules. There will be three rounds, tentatively starting at 9:00 AM , 1PM, and 7PM. Registration begins promptly at 8:30 AM, and there is table space for a maximum of 16 players. Loaner armies will be available upon request and all levels of skill are welcome. Prizes will be awarded.

Tournament is sponsored by Silver Eagle Wargame Supplies: silvereaglewargames.com

Additional prize support provided by Slithirine

Sunday – Abolus River – 338 BC Syracuse Vs Carthage:
"Timoleon was a champion of democracy. After his victory at the Crimissos River he attempted to stamp out tyranny by turning on his former allies, Hicetus the Tyrant of Leontoni and Mamercus the Tyrant of Catana.
Timoleon defeated Hicetas at the Battle of Damurias River and had him executed. Mamercus turned for help to his former Carthaginian enemies, and Gisco, eager to stir up trouble amongst the Sicilian Greeks, sent him some troops. The two armies met near the Abolus river where Timoleon was victorious. Mamercus was eventually captured and crucified."

The scenario is based on Jim Duncan's Command and Colors scenario and from GBOH's Tyrant scenario. Command either the forces of Carthage and her allies or Syracuse and her allies.

Looks like fun!

I used to fo the program for Havoc. I always wanted to do the 30th. Alas my sense of humor wouldn't be a good idea for the XXX edition!
