This rule set is now in it's fourth version, and it is currently presented as "Day of Battle, Revised". This system is designed for Dark Age era through to the Wars of The Roses, with units representing 200 to 400 men. There are 11 army lists contained inside, a system that can be used for campaigns, and two additional supplements called, "Crusader Warfare" and "The Norman Conquests" that provide additional army lists, and other optional rules for the game. |

It would be nice if they could use the proper cover :)

I find Day of Battle to be fast and furious, once I got the basics down. What I like is that it is challenging to have the game go as I planned, and the campaign system is a lot of fun Mike |

does the current edition still use 3 bases per unit like the 3rd edition? Is there an FAQ or post with the differences between the version? |

No it doesn't. It now uses the same single base foot print as Impetus. This means it is the foot print of 4 DBx type bases in two ranks. Here is a video on basing your troops. YouTube link Chris |

Since 4th has been out for a few years I don't have a differences sheet sorry. The fundamentals are the same. For example proximity movement and command playing cards rules are still intact and virtually untouched. Most of the Warlord/leader rules remain as do the honor point system. |

Sorry for the confusion, it was due to latest version being Day of Battle III on Wargame Downloads (you don't have the new version selling there). |

I understand you must be at your wits end with covers anyway, and thank you |

Can I get these rules here in the UK? I've been looking for single based unit rules for ages for my WOTR armies. |
