Hello all, I was looking through my old computer the other night and found an introduction to Commands & Colors: Ancients article that I wrote for an e-zine back in 2006 or so. I thought I'd post it on the blog in case it's of use to any miniatures gamers – especially those outside the UK -who may have been wondering what the game was all about. There have been five more expansions since this was written so there's a lot more out there now. link Hope it's useful for someone! Cheers, Aaron |

I started playing just last year, after having been introduced to the Napoleonic version. It's a great game, and I find it interesting how, with the same basic engine, a few difierences in troop types and (crucially) in the card deck provide an entriely different feel between the two periods. It fits well into a club night, too. |

I haven't played Napoleonics, but would like to give it a crack at some stage. |
