I have just started a Commands & Colors Ancient campaign. We plan to play each of the Italian battles from the second Punic War. See the link below.

We did something similar last year, except we didn't fight the battles, we fought the war. We used Commands and Colors to do the battles and Hannibal: Rome Vs Carthage to do the strategic bits. It was a very close campaign with Carthage winning because Rome couldn't quite get there.

You'll have fun with this. Happy gaming.

It made a nice change from playing with heaps of stuff. This was Trebbia using conventional rules. Bigger battle, but not more fun.

Great figures and even better game room Olicana. Top setup. I have the Vallay Games version of HvC have'nt got around to learning the rules yet, been to busy with "The Guns of Gettysburg" and "Victory Lost" boardgames but an interesting idea which I will bear in mind for the future.
