We've had quite a few topics for this ruleset already, would you support a dedicated board for To The Strongest? |

Your going to create one no matter what we say, so why are you "asking" ? |
Winston Smith | 28 Oct 2015 6:22 p.m. PST |
Because it will be …. a Poll! Usually I vote that I would "support" such a Board. However if I never heard of it, then I abstain. As you are aware "No" votes don't count. Only if it gets 50 "I would support it" do the votes count. Actually, "vote" is an inaccurate term. Better to call it simply "support" tally. |

You can get 50 people to agree that Adolf Hitler was the love child of Mata Hara and Teddy Roosevelt so its still an exercise in futility so again, why even bother to ask? |

Yes. Why not? It is an ancient/medieval rule set. |

Yes. Boards make the forum easier to use. |

Yes – One of the better big-battle rules for ancients. |

Who pooped in your rice crispies? I think the answer to that is obvious. Most new board proposals fail to get the votes needed… I doubt that is actually true. |

I would not support this board. but I see no reason to deny it to those who would. just be sure to subdivide it by nationality and port of entry. |

Yes then I can turn it off. lol Seriously, it would be good to have it in one place if I do decide to go back to research the rules. |

No, never heard of it…just another board that will clutter up TMP |

Never heard of it, and I play a fair bit of big battle ancients. |
BigRedBat | 29 Oct 2015 1:32 a.m. PST |
Personally I'm not a big fan of subdividing the boards, I like to know what is going on in the various sets and because they don't come up on the main Ancients Discussion page, I miss them. Hail Caesar, for example; that's one I'd like to see posts about, DBA too. I prefer to check one board rather than three or four. Personally I'd prefer it if all the ancient rules sub-boards were rolled back into the main board- I think it would generate more traffic for TMP, too. Martin I am a closely guarded secret, I will drop you a line. |

A clear priority for immediate action given that no one has requested it. It got a good review in Slingshot recently. |
Jozis Tin Man | 29 Oct 2015 5:34 a.m. PST |
No. If the user wants to find TTS specific posts, then the search function is the best way to find it. And I like TTS. |
nazrat | 29 Oct 2015 7:04 a.m. PST |
Nooooope. And I have followed all the new board polls in recent years and most do indeed fail to get the requisite votes, regardless of what anybody "believes". |
Terrement | 29 Oct 2015 9:56 a.m. PST |
I like TTS and would support a board for it. |
doug redshirt | 29 Oct 2015 10:18 a.m. PST |
Yes. My new favorite rules. |
mgdavey | 29 Oct 2015 10:37 a.m. PST |
I don't feel every rule set needs it's own board, even if it's very good. |

Never heard of it. I don't know how any TMPer (or anyone keeping up to date with wargames news) with an interest in ancient wargaming can have not heard of TTS. |
Old Contemptibles | 29 Oct 2015 6:15 p.m. PST |
Never heard of it. So No! |
Terrement | 29 Oct 2015 8:31 p.m. PST |
"If the user wants to find TTS specific posts, then the search function is the best way to find it." On that basis, we only need "one board to rule them all" and a search function. |
Editor in Chief Bill | 29 Oct 2015 9:12 p.m. PST |
I doubt that is actually true. Get off your butt and do 10 seconds of research, and you'll see that I am right. |
Benvartok | 29 Oct 2015 11:44 p.m. PST |
Never heard of it. Can everyone just play one set of ancient rules please! |
nazrat | 30 Oct 2015 9:43 a.m. PST |
"I don't know how any TMPer (or anyone keeping up to date with wargames news) with an interest in ancient wargaming can have not heard of TTS." I come here every day many, many times and I have NEVER heard of it. Just because you think it is popular doesn't make it so. |

Thanks for the kind words chaps. I think the rules are better known this (UK) side of the pond as I take big participation games to several of the major shows. I'd love to come over to a US show, perhaps next year; alas I would have to leave my minis at home! Still I might be able to to a tie-up with some US gamers. Best, Simon |

You chaps over the pond don't know what you are missing. Put down your bags of cheese puffs and go read them! |
KTravlos | 30 Oct 2015 2:52 p.m. PST |
They are good rules. Not in support of a new board though. On the other hand it would be good exposure for a swell guy and his swell rules. |
Dark Knights And Bloody Dawns | 31 Oct 2015 5:20 a.m. PST |
I think TTS are well supported in the Ancients board and standout without the help of a dedicated notice board. I agree with Simon that the generic Ancients board does catch your eye regarding other interesting articles when looking for a TTS entry which is healthy for the hobby. |
Temporary like Achilles | 31 Oct 2015 7:32 a.m. PST |
Great set of rules, but I prefer to keep things ancient on one board too. |
