To purchase these rules, visit RPGNow.com, to order a download of the rules in PDF. They also offer some AD&D modules for BS, which you should see if you perform a search using the term, "BattleSystem", in their website search engine. Cheers!

Fantastic game it is too. They improved quite a bit from 1st to 2nd edition by making it more of a stand-alone engine rather than trying to be based on AD&D rules.

To piggy-back on Sgt Slag, a ton of old D&D and AD&D material is available on rpgnow, it's wonderful.

I'm a little embarrassed by the size of my "Wish List", on RPGNow.com… I have been a customer of their's for many years. WotC pulled a great many titles I was interested in off of the site, several years ago. Now, slowly, they seem to be making them available again. My "want" list is huge, while my "need" list is relatively small. And my hobby fund is even smaller! Difficult choices, knowing that they could pull any title, at any time… Cheers!

Yeah, strike while the iron is hot for sure.

The upside is a lot of these are cheaper than hunting on ebay.

I've added to the rules listing to mention the rules are still available.

Thanks, Bill. I consider it a great fantasy rules set. I'd love for more people to learn it, and play it. Regardless of the RPG rules changes over the years, this game is still fun, and worth playing. Cheers!

Always been a favorite of mine too.

Love this game, still my first choice for fantasy or historical miniatures gaming.
A very powerful, very adaptable engine.
