Hi

As it is not even 2 weeks left for the 2nd big Arthurina rules releas, Dux Bellorum, I thought it was time to get me a enemy army for my Saxons.

I have started to re-base my Romano-British cavalry and you can see the pictures of the first out of 5 units at my blog. dalauppror.blogspot.se

More to come during the next week or so.

Best regards Michael

Great start, and I like their shields, some cracking designs. I'll need to rebase some of my poor Late Romans who have languished in the drawers for more years than I care to recollect.

Back in Stockholm after a couple of weeks up in our summer house in Dalarna/Darlecarlia and I got realy glad as I run through the post and found a letter from Osprey with a review copy of Dux Bellorum:) Very nice indeed!!!

I will start to read right away…or as soon as I get the chance after unpacking all stuff we got in the car…

I have just received a review copy, too. Am well chuffed! Now I need to sit down and make time to read it…

Your minis look very nice.

Cheers, Simon

Yes Michael, I've just got off a plane, coming back from hols, and only managed a very cursory look (but they do appear to be clearly laid out and attractively illustrated. I was keen to see them because I liked the Glutter of Ravens rules, from which I assume these are descended.

I've also not yet had a chance to even open Dux Brittanorum, which is lying next to them on my table, or even to order Comitatus, which is also high on my list!

Cheers, Simon

Comitatus…might have to get me one more dark Age rule set…

Did you Michael? Quite possible…

I'm thinking of dusting off my old Foundry Pictish army to have a go against my small Late Roman army… I think I have enough minis.

Cheers, Simon

I only had a week and a half, but I did manage to write a set of rules whilst I was away- since everybody else seems to be doing it! ;-)

Luckily all my minis are based in elements so trying Dux Bellorum should be straightforward; phew.
