I like the rules, but not the time period, yet. I haven't got around to buying/painting saxons or romano-british, or picts etc.
Currently I have ancient britons, and imperial romans. Are there any appropriate lists for celts and earlier romans?

Celts v Celts is probably fair enough. The whole command-control and unit type is set around warbands rather than regular types.

That having been said, there are enough abilities that you might be able to make up a legionary army… it's going to be very small in terms of numbers though, with lots of benefits I would imagine. Skirmishers, which act more like levy than skirmishers, would be an issue you want to tackle.
