The best skirmish rules written - by milgamex in the 70s
Who's playing them?

I still have a copy, they've influenced my own rules ideas quite a bit over the years, but not currently playing them. |

It's time for a worldwide resurgence of these rules. All current fantasy rules are too simple. Nothing cooler than arrows breaking shields - and the facing rulers are ingenious. |

I have them and Milgamex's Ancient Warfare. Plan to use Sword and Spear for quickie 1/72nd ancient Rome vs Han skirmish and Ancient warfare for the big armies. Tried a lot of others and still go back to these. Elegant, to say the least. |

Full marks skippy01. The rules are elegant, realistic and fun. Beats crap rules using only d6 to hit, wound etc. |
