The best skirmish rules written - by milgamex in the 70s

Who's playing them?

I still have a copy, they've influenced my own rules ideas quite a bit over the years, but not currently playing them.

It's time for a worldwide resurgence of these rules. All current fantasy rules are too simple. Nothing cooler than arrows breaking shields - and the facing rulers are ingenious.

I have them and Milgamex's Ancient Warfare. Plan to use Sword and Spear for quickie 1/72nd ancient Rome vs Han skirmish and Ancient warfare for the big armies. Tried a lot of others and still go back to these. Elegant, to say the least.

Full marks skippy01. The rules are elegant, realistic and fun. Beats crap rules using only d6 to hit, wound etc.
