Hi I play Impetus and was wondering if anybody might know what the equivalent 1000pt army in Warmaster might be in Impetus – just a rough guess. They look like 300pt Impertus armies (?) Magister Militum have 1000pt Warmaster packs which I intend to purchase one or two of. Thanks for any help. |

In Warmaster infantry units are typically 30 figures and cost 50 pts. Heavy Cavalry are 12 figures and cost 120pts, light cavalry tend to still be 12 figures, but around 80 pts. An army will also have 3-4 leaders probably totalling 250 pts or so. This might give you some help in converting between systems. |

I'm not an Impetus player but I have played, so I can give you an answer, and that is
..it depends. It depends on what basing you want to use (I assume you are talking 10mm scale, so there isn't really a basing standard), and also on how many figures you want to put on each base. Some people go with too few figures on each base and it doesn't look like a proper battle IMO
personally I would try and cram as many figures on each base as possible for heavy foot. |
