Hi, I haven't been able to get into the Impetus forum for a few weeks now. I assumed it was just for the holidays but its still not working. Anyone know what is going on with it? |

Seems to be fine i just went in and looked around people have posted up till yesterday. I did not sign in but the forum is there none the less |

Thanks for checking it out. I still can't go to the forum, keep getting 'Error 503 : Service Temporarily Unavailable'. I'll try another computer and check my browser settings. Cheers |

impetus.forumsland.com works for me.
If I go to a forum and then click on the 'index' I get an error – it has a different address to the above. |

Once you get that error message you're stuck with it on that computer in my experience… |

Looks like you are right, Bob. Tried everything my end so I'm wondering if the Impetus site is blocking my IP address for some reason. I'll try and get hold of the site owner Lorenzo and see if it can be sorted out. |

Clear your cookies and cache, that should allow you to sign. |

Eureka, I'm in at last. Thanks to everyone for the help and suggestions. I'm finally able to get into the forum. Lorenzo, was a real gent and got back to me straight away to confirm there was no problem with my account so the issue was my end. In short I tried several fixes, scanning for spyware, registry fixes and updates, resetting modem and router, browser/firewall settings, cookies etc. The last thing I did was check the time zone on the router and it was set for the wrong country. Set it to GMT and it worked, very happy. |
