Anyone know anything about this? Some of the comments on the forum would seem to indicate this. I have tried to join the forum but had no response to my registration attempt. |

Nick; I don't see any announcements on the forums for a updated Impetus rule book just the links to updates sofar. Let me add that their is "Advanced Impetus" which has all the updates and amendments in it, but these are also on the forum. Hope this helps alittle. |

Sorry I misinturpreted "Advanced Impetus" as being the full rules rather than the Basic so when I saw "I'm working at the 2014 version of Advanced Impetus." I presumed it referred to a new version The post further down "Will Impetus 2 have a minimum # of generals?" asks Poster – "So, as my group paints and continues planning our new armies we want to make sure that our current projects are in line with where Impetus will be when the revised rules come out." Response Admin/Author(dadiepiombo) – "Not decided yet. Much probably it will be as it is now, maybe with more generals if you play with more than 500pts." Bit confused! |

So far Impetus has from 1 to 4 generals. In Impetus 2 (soon or later will be released, but not so soon, I have to release Baroque first) there could be the chance to have more generals if you play "big battles" so with more than the standard points. |
