I'm starting my Impetus Western Late Roman mobile field army (Comitatenses) project. Since I hope to finish it in a reasonable amount of time I opted for AP with additional highlights added. First up are some Heavy Infantry with archer support. All my infantry will be done in 4 units colour coded blocks consisting of 2 spear and 2 archer units. The figures are Foundry with LBM transfers plus some MIG pigments on the shields. Thanks for viewing! :)

Very lovely! Great painting and basing. I'd not thought of using the MIG pigments on shields, will buy some. |

The main aspect of Impetus and Basic Impetus that really appeals to me is the large unit bases. These are really nice! |
