I can't seem to register with the Impetus Forum nor can I find a 'help/contact us' button. Am I doing something stupid?….I should point out that that is eminently possible. |

impetus.ativiforum.com is the current forum, PzG. The website is slightly anarchic. Some of it is still active (the beta lists and Basic Impetus. for example) but the "forum" listed there is now an archive and can only be searched, not joined. |

If you mean the rules are cumbersome then Basic Impetus is anything but cumbersome. Compared to almost every other set of rules for ancient and medieval they are positively streamlined. That suits me down to the ground but I know that many other wargamers don't appreciate that approach. But they are certainly worth a try especially now that the recently issued updated version is available – still free online. Check this thread: TMP link |
