I don't know but bearing in mind the terrain you'd expect large numbers of light troops (50-75%) and skirmishers (slings,bows and javelins) with maybe just one unit of cavalry and maybe 1-2 shooter units. These could be good quality when being fanatical otherwise poor quality. Phil Barker gives the option of a regular core of troops raised in the ex Seleucid cites of thureophoroi or possibly poor quality pike (maybe 1 -2 of each) and here again maybe a single unit of lancer cavalry and a single unit of lighter horse. |
