I was wondering is Basic Impetus plays well using DBA basing? If not what adjustments are necessary? With Respect Konstantinos Travlos |

1 BI base = 4 DBx bases, so you've halved the frontage and depth so As long as everything else is constant, it won't make any difference at all. :) |

I've played with both halved distances and by just using DBA bases and the movement distances as published. Both worked fine for me, the distance moved at full scale didn't seem out of place compared to DBA itself. |

Using the full scale you have a faster game. The only distortion can come wheeling as it is much easier to turn and outflank, but as you cannot turn more than 90° it is a very limited problem. Also interpenetration is more easy, but yet nothing of great importance. |

I have been contemplating basing all my 15mm DBA armies on 40mm X 40mm bases. See some interesting reasoning here: link This would also open my armies up to other rule systems with no need to ever modify my bases. I don't play in tournaments so I have no worries on that point. YMMV. |

it works good. no need to change the measuring scale. i think you should use a 60x60 or 90x60 board though. 120x60 is way too big. |
