Curious as to what scale minis to be used. Thanks. |

OOPS! Just edited the release. This is a 25/28mm scale tournament. However, if a player only has 20mm, they may be permitted to use them provided the minis are based to the 25/28mm standard. Thanks for that! |

Thanks. I'll start building the scenery and gaming boards in January. There will be prizes, but they have yet to be determined. As we get them, they'll be posted here and on the convention website. |

However, if a player only has 20mm, they may be permitted to use them provided the minis are based to the 25/28mm standard 15mm as midget Greeks, provided that are based to 25mm standard? :-D |

Heh
thanks, but we insist on SOME standards. We have a couple fellows with only the 20mm 1/72 ancients, already based, and to be honest, it wasn't that overly noticeable. We want to make the tourney open and welcome to as many players as possible. Eventually, we will go completely with 25/28mm minis, but right now the goal is to rebuild the Ancients period interest up here. |

I would add that, if there were, say, 6 players who had 15mm armies, I would be more than happy to arrange an adjunct 15mm Impetus Tourney on the same day, times, etc. V/R |

Well, the first emails have begun to arrive. As things progress, I'll post more updates and some pics of the terrain and game boards I'll be constructing. V/R |

This is just to let folks know that the tournament is still planned. The materials for the game boards are beginning to arrive, and as I get construction underway, I'll post some pice of them. It's going to be a great time this year, not just with this tournament, but with the whole convention. If you are interested in attending, email or message me or see the links above. Respects, Tim Kindred Impetus Tournament Director, Huzzah! 2012 |
