Can the full set of Impetus rules be used with the Basic Impetus army lists? |

If you like, just assign your own 'Discipline' values. It seems a bit limiting though. :)

No, there is no Discipline value in the Basic Impetus lists. If you wanted to ask whether the lists could be used by using the ammounts of a given troop type from the BI list and the stats from the Impetus lists: Yes, but it would be less work and more fun to just play Impetus with 200 points a side. Works perfect, only change I would recommend would be halving costs for generals and using a 120 cm by 90 cm (possibly 60 cm) table. If you want to do that to save money on the lists, there is a huge ammount of free Impetus army lists on the Impetus site. They are not "official", but why should you care about that
Hope that is helpful. |

Can the full set of Impetus rules be used with the Basic Impetus army lists? Should work fine. As CS says, assign your own DVs or make all of them 4+. |

Even more interesting is playing Impetus as a multi-player game, with Basic Impetus armies. Each player brings their own, provided it fits into the scenario. IE: One side is all Marian Roman, and the other all Britons/Gauls/etc. |
