Looks good, with very nice figures. Why were so many of the units disordered ? Wouldn't it have been better to advance more slowly and maintain cohesion ? |

I agree with the Marshal. I also liked the comic-book look to the graphics. Hoplites in IMPETVS do tend to go slow and steady unless you risk a double move. If your discipline check fails after the second move, you are disordered and cannot move again that turn and cannot be a part of a group. Again, very nice little AAR. Thanks for posting. Chris |

The reason for all the disorder was because in Basic Impetus, every time a unit makes a move such as an oblique or sideways move it disorders them. I may have played it wrong with the cavalry, but I think if a unit wheels and moves straight ahead as part of the same move that disorders them too, hence that's why the Athenian cavalry did nothing all game because of the constant disorder
