I've posted the Alpha 1 version to the Way of the Warrior – an MOA varient for Samurai Warfare in the Yahoo support group files section of the Might of Arms group. We are approching this like an Open Source project where anyone can contribute. Once everything is in a final version, the rules varient will be in a PDF format and free for all. During development, the rules will be in a DOC format and the graphics in Open Office Drawing format. Individual graphics will be in GIF files. We are doing this because OPEN OFFICE 2.0 is available to both Windows and Linux users and is FREE. It has functionality that M$ Office lacks, like writing directly to PDF files. I've added lots of additional rules designed to give the SAMURAI real flavor. It does add a bit of complexity and I'm NOT recommending these rules for other MOA periods. I've added Ninja's, formations, notes on baseing Samurai, Leaders as Combat units, Camp Guards, etc. |
