I'm slowly working on the new web site for the Crusader rules and have posted a couple more articles.

One of them is a sample taken from the forthcomming army list book and gives details for the Numidians – cunningly timed to co-incide with the release of the figures ;-)

You can also see sample pages from the rules and I'll be typing up a battle report as soon as I get the chance. While I'm here I've also been pointed to a review of the rules – shameless plug link below.

I like the concept of these rules but don't like multiple based figures. I like my troops to be individuals! I suppose I could make little bases for groups of four or whatever.

New Numidians! Yippee!

I'd like some more Numidians, too; I hope that there will be some sort of deal when the range is complete.

Thanks Mike, I'd not realised the other figures were out! I particularly like the figures in punic helmets; I've long fancied a unit of close order Numidian infantry.

Here's a link in case anyone else had missed it:

Simon have fun painting them. I properly will not get them until I get back to work, because of the shoulder. Cheers Mike

Another vote for these rules, there's also a review in the latest Vaevictis (in French of course).

Hope your shoulder is better soon, Mike! I expect it'll be a while before I get mine painted; too much to do, too little time.

I need to get my Crusader Spanish painted first!
