I bought it and was sorely disappointed. The rules look, feel and play like a cross between DBx and the old WRG series if I remember correctly - we played it for about a dozen games and then went back to DBx/Armati. Its not that there is anything specifically wrong with them, its just not an enjoyable game IMHO. On a brighter note, the scenarios book on Roman armies is quite nice and more or less applicable to DBx.

I have the second edition and the Roman scenario book, its nothing like DBx/Armati, I dont know what bob is playing but it wasnt HACK!
The rules are fine, if anything a breath of fresh air from the typical DBx games out there.
