"Ancient Empires 2nd Ed Players in Waxahachie, Texas area" Topic

I'm looking to start up or join a group around Waxahachie, Texas, who are playing ancients (15mm) using the Ancient Empires rules. Anybody around here who plays or would like to learn to play?

Keith, Greg Pitts, the author of Ancient Empires lives in the DFW area. He posts to the LSHM DFW yahoo group. You can find him there and on the main LSHM yahoo group.

Oh, LSHM is Lone Star Historical Miniatures, one of the wargaming organization in Texas, they have several chapters around the state.

Thanks, guys, I appreciate the info. I'll check out LSHM. I've spoken with Greg (what a great guy) as my son and I play his new 2nd edition Ancient Empires. He's been a big help on any questions we have.

I'm hoping to spark some interest in my immediate area and knew this was the place to advertise. Thanks again.

WAXAHAHCIE?! WAXAHACHIE?! Waxahachie, did you say?!

I'm just in shock to discover another gamer in Waxahachie. Shock, I tell you. I thought 'hachie was a gaming wasteland. No game shops, no comic shops, no hobbie shops. Just some card munchkins at Hastings.

I live south of town, out in the boonies. While I haven't heard of Ancient Empires, I do like ancients. There's also some gaming up in Red Oak too.
