Man on Man is a system for detailing open land battles in the aincient period. It is unique in that it involves no dice at all. Instead each play is left to depend on their own skill.
– Man on Man introduction
The rules assume the use of 15mm figures. If you use another scale it should be relativly easy to change distances and element sizes in the rules to fit.
– Man on Man
Basing
The figures should be mounted on elements with up to 3 other figures. These can be of any width but all elements should be of the same width. Depth is less important, but to represent the greater ease of surrounding slower troops I suggest 10mm for close formation foot, 15mm for other foot and 30mm for cavalry.
