Rise of the Battleships

Rise of the Battleships is a set of naval wargame rules covering the later ironclad and pre-dreadnought era of naval warfare including the period from the 1870s to 1905.

The rules use a fairly simple system for determining the results of gunnery making use of range estimation (to recreate the inaccuracy of the weapons of the period).

The rules are primarily designed for small fleet actions with up to 10 ships per side however rules are included to play battles with much larger fleets.
