  • 21st Century Plastic Modeller is a new magazine from PAMAG Publications, long-time publisher of Plastic Kit Constructor magazine. This new magazine will focus on lower-priced aircraft kits from the major kit manufacturers (Airfix, Revell, Matxhbox, Italeri) that are readily available for newcomers to the hobby and budget-conscious modelers. Sections of the magazine will be devoted to help for newcomers, kit reviews, and how-to-build articles. Each issue will contain a scale plans feature. The majority of subjects will be 1/72 scale kits of aircraft of the major world powers, with occasional coverage of the larger scales and smaller countries.
  • Aircraft Modeller International from Guildhall (England) is the result of the merger of the two very popular Quarter Scale Modeller and 72nd Scale Modeller magazines. Now produced six times a year in full color, each issue contains modeling articles in both scales, as well as photo pages and reviews of recent kits, accessories, book, decals, etc.
  • Insignia, a quarterly publication from Blue Rider Publishing (England), presents an offbeat view on military aviation, with emphasis on aircraft colors and markings of the lesser-known air arms of the world, including details on insignia and profiles showing colors and markings.
