For over thirty five years, the South East Scotland Wargames Club has been providing a meeting and gaming space for wargamers in the Edinburgh area.
Weekly meetings are held every Thursday, from 7.00 pm until 11.00 pm in the Royal Navy & Royal Marine Association at 1 Broughton Road, Edinburgh. There's space for up to fifteeen 6'x4' gaming tables and we have a good supply of scenery for miniatures games permanently stored on the premises. Other members play board or card games and there's a bar on site for those who take their socialising seriously.
Sunday meetings: On the first Sunday of the month we usually have an all-day meeting. This gives people a chance to play those big games that just won't fit in to the normal four-hour evening meetings.
Games played: There's a good balance between historical and science fiction/fantasy gaming in the club and if it's a wargame then someone in the club probably plays it.
Competitions: Each year we hold club competitions for those who are interested, and members regularly attend competition events in Scotland and down south in England. Some people have even make occasional forays over to Europe or the USA.
Claymore: The club organises an annual wargames show, usually held on the first Saturday in August. For many wargamers, this show is the highlight of the wargaming year in Scotland, and it attracts people from all over the country and also from the North of England.
Emailing List: We run an emailing list through which members can discuss wargaming matters and keep in touch with what's going on at the club.

The club website is undergoing reconstruction at present.
