The Hong Kong Society of Wargamers has been in existence for over 20 years and has a membership of approximately 30. It meets the first Saturday of each month and usually has at least one "all comers" game organized for the purpose of introducing new members to various rules for a variety of periods.
Whilst tabletop wargaming predominates, we also do board gaming, with all periods covered - from Biblical period chariot armies through to WWII; fantasy and sci-fi games are also played. A creative group of Europeans and Asians, we not only use internationally standardized rules such as DBM, DBR, Rapid Fire, etc., we also have produced a variety of home-grown rules which can be found on our web site. Ad hoc games - outside the regular meetings - are a regular phenomenon, with some very creative campaigns being organized.
