I've begun to plan a project based around the Battle of Gravelotte-St. Privat, played at regiment-level using 28mm figures.
The basic unit of maneuver will be the battalion, consisting of a single three-figure stand. Batteries will be represented by a single gun model and one crew figure. No command figures will be necessary, as only the "basic rules" will be in use for this first game.
