As you've probably noticed, there have been some problems getting the 28mm WWII Barbarossa Project off the ground (it was an ambitious scenario, not all of the models are available yet, arrangements with all of the manufacturers aren't completed, etc.).

Meanwhile, there were plenty of qualified artists inquiring about participating - so it seemed to make sense to start up another Project.

Russia '41 - Drive on Minsk

I chose 15mm scale because I knew I could get manufacturer support in this scale (and because some of the models were already on hand here). For scenario selection, I toyed with the idea of doing the exact same scenario as our 28mm Barbarossa Project - I thought it would be interesting to see the same scenario done in different scales - but in the end chose to go with a scenario that involved less equipment.

introduction of the Armor Clash scenario from Russia '41 - Drive on Minsk

Armor Clash comes from J&D Publications' Drive on Minsk scenario book, and depicts a meeting engagement of Soviet and German armor at the very start of the Barbarossa invasion of Russia. (The scenario can be downloaded as a PDF file, if you'd like to see it for yourself.)
