Julia has the Orc Army from the Mighty Armies line at Rebel Miniatures.

The opposing army is the Dwarven Border Army from the Mighty Armies line at Rebel Miniatures.

The Orcs were originally painted for TMP by All About Miniatures. A second group (to make a double army set) was painted by Fernando Enterprises. I then did some touch-ups and rebasing to help the two sets blend together.

The Dwarves were originally painted for TMP by Black Mountain Miniatures.

Some comments on the game:

Julia defeated the initial Dwarf invasion of her Orc lands, and in this second battle was intercepting another Dwarf incursion. (Which looks more like an ambush, now…)

As the Dwarf player, I was extremely lucky with the random map and the random army list! I was hoping for something more "fighty" but it was the perfect chance to see how effective archery is in Mighty Armies.

It was also nice to finally win a battle! grin

There is Toby's Cafe in Manila. They don't have a lot of room but you could use one of their tables to possibly run a small game and you will have people who like to board game as well. Not sure if they are still around as I was there last year.

Unfortunately, Manila is a plane or boat ride away from where Julia lives in the Philippines.
