It was a tight game!

We were using the Reform rule a lot. Julia was breaking her army down into smaller Groups and then putting them back together (with Reform) as she made her turns. (We used the errata that a unit can Move or Reform, but not both in the same turn.)

I used Reform to do a 180° once, and another time to move sideways (to get past that darn Rock!).

Reminds me of chasing my younger brother around the table trying to catch him to "whack" him!

The interesting thing is that Dwarves move 3" and Orcs move 4", but I only needed "anything but a 1" to move my army every turn, and Julia needed lots of Move points.

And a program note: The campaign is on hiatus while Julia is in the U.S., as she was unable to bring her game set in her luggage.

Impressive little game. Shows you don't have to have 1000 figures per side to have a good wargame.
