Hi, everyone! I just want to share to all of you that the most important person in my life – my grandmother – just celebrated her 80th birthday.
She was crying when she was about to blow out the candles on her cake, she didn't expect that she was going to have a celebration because of our situation, but I did my best.
With the help of my family, friends and work, I was able to make it possible to have a celebration on her special day. Even if it is just a simple celebration and no gifts, I could see the happiness on her face and I am so thankful.
Below is a photo of my grandma with her brothers and sisters. She was so happy that they came, and they are all of the siblings who are still alive. Grandma is the eldest.
I wasn't able to take a photo with her during the celebration because I was too busy preparing for everything and I was so tired already, but I was so happy and thankful that day. She knows how much I love her, and I will do everything for her even if nothing will be left for myself.
She took care of me since I was little, and until now I am still living with her and taking care of her, my grandfather, and my sister who has special needs. We've been through a lot. Grandma has been sick. I am always praying that she will be given good health, strength, and longer life so that we could have more time with her. She is an amazing person, her kindness is really unbelievable. We are so blessed to have her around. If I could only give some years of my life and add it to hers, I would surely do it.
To all grandparents out there who are taking care of their grandchildren, you are amazing people and I respect you all so much. Thank you so much.
