I was not aware that this event was going on, until I went for one of my classes and showed up early for it. I was the only one there so I checked the schedule, saw the blocked-out time, and went back to the eating area.

There, Tim Collier - Reaper artsy guy and miniature designer - was holding forth on the subject of designing miniatures from concept through artwork to finished product. He discussed what elements are considered when coming up with the initial concept. He pointed out that fantasy weapons are larger because it is expected in the genre.
