Paul Glasser writes:

Allied kills

Two platoons of M3 light tanks and Crusaders are decimated by enemy fire. Casualties are marked by putting red cotton in the turrets to simulate flames.

On turn four, I re-form my tank groups so that they are all able to engage the enemy in unison. During my previous movements, my platoons became intermixed and sometimes blocked line of sight.

A Pz III platoon scores four hits, but fail to penetrate the Crusader's armor. The Pz IVs open fire, forcing a Crusader crew to bail out. The assault guns are able to use their full rate of fire and knock out two targets. All my German tanks pass the stroomtrooper skill test, and retreat to avoid being outflanked by the Crusaders.

In this scenario, the Allied players receive continual reinforcements. Because the Crusader IIs have been decimated, a new wave of Crusader IIIs deploy on the edge of the battlefield. The Mark III tanks sport a 6lb gun instead of the original 2lb weapon, giving them much better armor penetration.
