In turn three, the sun finally rose, revealing the entire battlefield. Now units can move at full speed, but by doing so they will create dust clouds that obscure the vision of friend and foe alike. Tanks that move also reduce their rate of fire.

German dust

A column of panzers advances at high speed towards the enemy, creating a thick cloud of dust.

My assault gun crew passes a morale test and returns to the fight.

My Pz IIIs open fire first, scoring three hits on a crusader squadron. But, only two penetrate and both crews are able to bail out. Another Crusader group is routed by the Pz IVs after suffering severe loses and failing a morale check.

My M13 platoon gets one more kill, but the assault guns are unable to score any lethal hits.

During the Allied attack phase, one Crusader crew rallies, and the survivors are able to knock out two M13s.
