Wyatt the Odd Fezian continues:

Right next to the Celebrity Guest area is a busy little area that stands out like an oasis among the frenzied TGC sea - the Paint & Take (P&T). Led by a very busy Sue Wachowski (PaintMinion on TMP), the area introduces newcomers to the satisfaction of painting one's own miniature.

The P&T provides basic instruction in proper painting techniques, along with advice on proper use and cleaning of brushes, and etc. For people who have already discovered the joy of slapping acrylic on pewter, this area provides a relaxing area that serves not only as a break from gaming frenzy, but may also introduce them into a product line they haven't seen before. And, in contrast to many of the activities at Gen Con, it's free.
