Paul Glasser writes:

The Italians are one of the biggest winners in the Task Force expansion set, and can now count on support from the Regina Aeronautica. Previously without air cover, Italian commanders can now deploy the C.202 Folgore fighter, Ju-87 dive-bombers and the Sm.79 torpedo bomber.

The Sm.79 was a fast and rugged torpedo-bomber and enjoyed success in the Mediterranean, sinking 122,000 tons of shipping. Although fairly pricey at 11 points, the Sm.79 is also able to attack multiple targets simultaneously.
