Now for a bit of extra fun!

Scurvy's first-ever painted mini

Mmmmmmmmkay. Here we have my first-ever painted mini. My, that red is bright! (Paint a pink undercoat, then paint red for that effect.) The only thing in its favour I can say is it's neat. Still, I remember being pleased as punch when it was done 'cus I thought it was totally kick arse. Note lack of base as well. These days I would be loathe to put it on a table. The fig is a Space Marine from the paint set.

Scurvy's personal fave

Next, we have a personal fave of mine. Sure, there is no inking, highlighting, or anything else tricky. But... the face reminds me of a 4-colour comic-book villain, and that's way cool. The basing flock must-of come from the Communist Miniatures Club of Outer Siberia as its pudding quality stuff. Something is on the base, though, and that's a good start. This fella was one of the first in my Dark Eldar Army from the 3rd ed boxed set.

Next
