Warmachine gaming

Even relatively early on Friday, there were many people – and more importantly, many miniatures games going on. In the WotC event area, games of Axis and Allies, Star Wars Miniatures and D&D Miniatures were in full swing. Privateer's Warmachine and games of Dark Age were taking up several tables.

Dark Age gaming

There were also several games of The War Game – an enlarged game based on the original Axis and Allies – taking place.

The War Game

In addition to the games, the Paint and Take table had people waiting their turn to paint a figure. A new addition was the paint-and-take in the children's area, where youngsters were being introduced to applying paint to plastic or metal. Elsewhere in the children's area, several kids were playing with larger Star Wars miniatures.
