Believe it or not, this song was created by accident.
While working on another attempt to generate a song using AI, I was running into a problem which crops up now and then – I wasn't getting any results that I liked, or that fit what I had in mind for the lyrics. Sometimes this is just bad luck. Sometimes, it helps to try different musical styles, as some seem to work better than others.
Getting desperate, I decided to try 'sea shanty' as a song style. When that didn't work, I tried 'pirate song'. When the AI didn't know what that was, I tried 'Long John Silver'. However, before submitting the last request, I failed to notice that I had changed the settings from using the lyrics supplied… to asking the AI to come up with its own lyrics!
In other words, I had by accident asked Sonauto to come up with an entirely new song based on 'Long John Silver.'
When using the Sonauto website, you get two results for each request. I was startled when I realized the AI was no longer using my lyrics… but both songs were good! One song had some errors, but I thought the other one was good enough to go with!
Note that, given the current limitations of the technology, my choice was to take what I got, or spin the dice again. There's no way to say 'keep this music, but let me edit the lyrics'. Otherwise, I would have made some edits.

I usually use Gemini to create lyrics, as you can work with the AI to make changes. Looks like Sonauto turns out lyrics that are more like modern songs, while Gemini turns out lyrics that are more like poetry.
And yes, if I could have, I would have changed 'boots' to 'boot', since he has a wooden leg! 
I fed the lyrics to Nano Banana, and it came up with a nice illustration. Although the ship seems to be in a foot or so of seawater! And if he has the gold, why does he need the map?
I used another AI to edit the art, then a third AI to animate the art. I had to argue with the AI because it wanted to make the ship bounce around too much, and even in the final result it is probably too bouncy.
