The British Fleet Air Arm also gains several hard-hitting and versatile units. The Beaufighter TF Mk. X can strafe, dogfight or make torpedo attacks. It ignores penalties while strafing, and has enough firepower to damage light cruisers or destroyers.

The Barracuda Mk. II is also an aggressive multipurpose unit, with anti-submarine, torpedo and dive-bomber capabilities. These squadrons can also "press the attack" and dive through clouds of flak to deliver their bombs on target.

The HMS Illustrious serves as an excellent complement to these units. When combining the "expert torpedo" and "sneak attack" skills, British torpedo bombers are almost guaranteed to score a hit.
