I should note that the dealer room was a bit smaller than normal this time around, as Strategicon located it in the area usually set aside for open gaming. There was still plenty of open gaming going on among the tables outside the dealer room, but it seemed that (after a small bit of initial confusion) everyone found the dealer room as it was generally busy throughout the day.

The flea market

Supplementing the dealer room was the flea market, where small dealers can rent a table for a few hours and sell their products. As a general rule, products sold in this area must be previously used - but there were some of the old Monogram 1/35 Robotech models still in their original boxes.
