Round 3

The Japanese and Allies both roll 8 on the initiative throw, but the Allies win because the Japanese leaders have been killed.

The Allies move first, but only the infantry advance. Only the Japanese mortar is able to relocate, and moves into the forest.

In the assault phase, both Japanese MG squads fire at the Vickers teams, but fail to score a hit because they are disrupted and suffer a penalty. Only one AT gun has a shot on the Sherman, but it fires and misses. The mortar continues to move up the treeline towards the enemy.

The riflemen fire on the MG squad hiding in the trees, but all three volleys are ineffective. The Vickers team has a clear shot at the second AT gun and destroys it. The other Vickers team fires on the MG squad in the city and disrupts it. The Sherman returns fire on the AT gun and pulverizes it.
